There was a student named Young, last name not important, and a teacher, Ms. Understood. They had a relationship, a teacher-student relationship, a relationship of learning and teaching. He would show up to class, along with the other students. She would show up alone, as she was the teacher. They sat across from each other, her desk faced the students.
They went to lunch together, but each of them went to lunch separately and ate in different parts of the lunch room.
They shared love together, a love of the public school system. They fought against proposed charter schools together, she by collecting a paycheck and he by attending a public school.
Sometimes they would stay late in the afternoon alone, along with the other students, until it was time for them to all go home.
They would meet up after school sometimes and kiss in front of the other students.
