What Would You Do?

As seen in: Entirely Secret & Completely Optional #

What Would You Do? is a hidden camera show where ordinary citizens face moral dilemmas.

—Sir! We were wondering why you ran over those children earlier.
—What? What children—oh, my God. Did you put them there?
—Yes. We did. To see what you would do.
—I didn’t even see them. They’re babies.
—That’s right, you didn’t even check.
—These ten babies are painted the exact color of the crosswalk.

—You again! We noticed you didn’t help our old grandma across the street despite her illness and the rapidly growing sinkhole behind her.
—Am I on that show again? That old lady was covered in pustules.
—Yes, we specifically chose the most diseased grandma we could find for this shoot, as she is logically the one who needs the most help. Now look at her. She’s been swallowed by the Earth.
—(through megaphone) Hey! Over here!
—I have a restraining order against you guys!
—We’re exactly 300 feet away from you. We were wondering why you picked cage-free eggs instead of free-range.
—I was short on cash. Don’t you have more interesting things to film?
(A plane explodes overhead.)
—Little decisions can have enormous consequences. There were 200 United States citizens on that plane.

—We’ve tied five people to one track and five to the other. What will you do?
—That’s not how the thought experiment goes.
—What thought experiment?
—Please, sir! Could you spare a penny for an orphan?
—Fuck off.
—Sir! We weren’t rolling! Could you kick that orphan again?
